quietly snapped pictures of himself with celebrities as a part-time street and documentary photojournalist.

Hobbs’ story is extraordinary given that in 1964 he was born into abject poverty in the town of Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Why does he do it? According to Hobbs “”I consider it to document important moments considering how my life began to live under extremely difficult circumstances. I hope my story through these photos with celebrities will serve as an inspiration.
