Royals Unveil Sports Platform News Corp’s Marketing Campaign, Code
Independent agency The Royals is behind a multi-channel campaign to promote News Corp’s new digital sports platform, Code.
Television, radio and digital advertising will form the central pillars of the crusade, with marketing materials bearing the slogan “Unlock Sports Stories”.
Code, which launched last week, will offer in-depth daily sports coverage from around the world, according to News Corp, with subscriptions starting at AUD 8.99 per month.
The post will feature a website, codesports.com.au and an app.
Royals Executive Creative Director Stu Turner added, “It has been incredibly rewarding to develop the Code brand from scratch. Being able to truly shape the look and life of a brand in the world, working with the team at News Corp, has resulted in something that we are extremely proud to bring to sports fans across Australia. .
Code will be led by sports journalist Alex Brown, former national sports manager at News Corp.
The site will have its own team of reporters whose content will also take over the publishing and broadcast assets of News Corp, including The Times and The Wall Street Journal..
