Rahul Vengalil Joins Rediffusion Group as Executive Director, Everest | Advertising

Rediffusion Group has announced the appointment of Rahul Vengalil as Executive Director of Everest Brand Solutions.

Vengalil leaves Densu Isobar, where he was managing partner. He will lead Everest Brand Solutions, which aims to position itself as a premier full-service digital agency. He will report to Sandeep Goyal, managing director of Rediffusion, and will be based in Bangalore, which has become the agency’s headquarters.

Goyal said: “Everest celebrates its 75th year today. And there’s no better time for us than now to reinvent and relaunch the agency. With Rahul as the young but experienced new leader, we look forward to a bright and invigorated future for Everest. Rahul brings together the brightest and best minds in the digital industry; we are concentrating our operations from Bangalore and Mumbai to begin with; and Everest should be fully supported by common group resources, especially in strategic planning, including Red Lab. Going forward, Everest as digital-first agencies and Rediffusion as creative-first agencies will combine to offer clients the best their brand needs.

Vengalil said, “This opportunity given to me is so symbolic. We literally have to climb Mount Everest in the next few years. The future of advertising relies on integrated solutions that deliver accountability and efficiency to corporate clients. Today’s integrated offerings in the market still exist in silos in a sense, and the true power of integration is often missed in brand communication. At Everest, we will be in a better position to provide better services to our customers because we start with the advantage of being able to implement industry-leading craftsmanship and craftsmanship that is best in class. We will be digital at heart, but results-driven solutions will be the guiding thought, in everything we do.”

Besides being an entrepreneur, he has also worked with Interactive Avenues, Diligent Media Corporation and Technofirst.
