Susan Davis International names Spencer geissinger as vice president. Geissinger joins SDI from Showcall, Inc., a Washington-based event production company, where he was Director and Vice President since 2014. He has also served as Director of External Affairs and Director of the Washington DC office for the former Florida Governor Rick Scott. Governor of Florida and Assistant Assistant to President George W. Bush for White House Operations. At SDI, Geissinger will lead event management and business development practices and lead the agency’s go-to-market strategies. “His impressive track record and reputation as a proven leader, both in Washington and nationally, will prove to be a valuable asset,” said Susan Davis, President of SDI.
Goodfuse hiring Helen Hu as first vice-president, Abigail Obre as vice president and Joe jordan as vice president, creative director. All three are new positions for the agency. Hu was until recently Marketing Manager at E-Alternative Solutions. She also held marketing management positions at Philips and Estēe Lauder. At Goodfuse, Hu will be responsible for driving client outcomes by further incorporating data analytics and innovative ideation. Obre comes to Goodfuse from the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, where she has led media relations and communications. She will be responsible for reputation management and crisis communications for Goodfuse healthcare clients. Jordan has created programs for brands such as LG, All-Clad, Heineken, Philips Lighting, and Johnson & Johnson. He will lead the web design and development efforts for all of Goodfuse’s customers.
Shoe company Calères appointed Jennifer olsen as Marketing Director, effective June 28. Olsen was until recently CMO at UNTUCKit, a men’s casual wear company. She was also vice president of media marketing for Yahoo! and served as CMO at StitchFix and Crate & Barrel. At Caleres, Olson will oversee all brand marketing, including consumer analytics, media and creative. “His strong background in marketing, consumer research and digital aligns perfectly with our strategic priorities, including empowering and expanding the reach of our brands and products and accelerating digital growth with stronger connections with consumers, ”said Diane Sullivan, President and CEO of Caleres.
